Popular Afrobeats singer Burna Boy has denied claims that he had an affair with famous socialite Jessie Awazi. Recall that controversial Snapchat user “Milkshake” recently alleged that Jessie slept with several celebrities, including Davido and Burna Boy.
Reacting via his Instastory, the singer immediately denied knowing who Jessie Awazie is, claiming he has never met her.
According to him, random people have formed the habit of including his name in controversial claims because it helps to spice up the story, but when he takes legal action against them, they’ll start begging for mercy.
Burna Boy noted that he has no idea who the woman is, stressing that the allegation is very false.
“I have NO idea who that person is! They just throw my name in there to make their gist spicy. But when I take action, everyone will start crying and begging. No wahala,” he wrote.
The drama started after Milkshake accused Jessie Awazie of owing her ₦3.5 million and betraying her trust despite previously funding her lifestyle.
She went on to make shocking claims about Jessie’s alleged sexual relationships with famous musicians who go as far as paying hush money to keep the affairs under wraps.
The Snapchat user shared supposed details of expensive gifts like a Birkin bag, warning the celebrities she has been involved with to get themselves tested.
While Davido has stayed silent amid the growing controversy, Burna Boy has completely distanced himself from the accusations, while issuing a stern warning to those spreading false information.
