I Have Nothing Against Eedris Abdulkareem – D’banj

D’banj has spoken up concerning a recent rant by hip-hop artiste, Eedris Abdulkareem who criticized lots of music stars including him, 2face Idibia and Timaya.

The attack already prompted a response from Timaya who blasted him for not offering a helping hand to those under him – a similar theme of the Eedris’ criticism of Idibia whom he accused of abandoning Blackface.

D’banj however, was calm in his response to his critic who thought he was “stupid” to have left Don Jazzy in 2012.

He felt Abdulkareem is entitled to an opinion but also thinks he could be a better role model. It is all love as far as he is concerned.

“At first, I did not see the video where Eedris spoke about me and initially, I thought it was something else till people sent me the video.

“I have seen different videos of him talking about different artistes that are young enough to be his kids.

“I would have thought that if he was such a role model, there were better ways he could pass his message across but I have nothing against him. I have nothing more to say about him. I feel people just have different ways of expressing themselves.”
