The Croatian midfielder Luka Modric has come out to explain why he snubbed other offers to join AC Milan. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he joined AC Milan because he still has the hunger to win the biggest titles in competitive leagues, and the Italian club can provide him with that and more right now.
Modric added that he’ll help his teammates in every way possible throughout the next Serie A season.
His words, “First of all, I come with a lot of respect for everyone: players, coaches and the club in general.
I want to bring my hunger to win, help my teammates in every way possible and work hard to earn my place in the team. It’s never easy, you have to work hard and fight.”
