Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has said that Kylian Mbappe can win the next Ballon d’Or award. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he believes 2026 could be the year Mbappe finally gets to lift the prestigious individual award because he has been a football phenomenon throughout his career.

He added that he loves playing with the Frenchman, and everyone agrees that they pair up very well.
His words, “Yes, the truth is that we pair up very well, and he’s really good.
I love playing with him. He has incredible speed. He’s getting faster every day and finishing better. He’s a football phenomenon. It’s a pleasure to have him on our team.
Of course he can [win the Ballon d’Or next year] if he keeps this up, and scores so many goals. And titles should be important. You have to understand this criterion because sometimes they apply it and sometimes they don’t.”
