England midfielder, Jack Grealish has come out to blast those accusing him of failing to step up to take a penalty for his country. He recently revealed that he definitely volunteered when Gareth Southgate was looking for a list of five takers.
According to him, Southgate has made so many right decisions through this tournament so he had to respect the penalty takers list that didn’t include him.
Grealish added that he won’t have people accuse him wrongly when they don’t know the full story.
His words, “I said I wanted to take one!!!!”
“The gaffer has made so many right decisions through this tournament and he did tonight!”
“But I won’t have people say that I didn’t want to take a peno when I said I will.”
