Popular record label executive Nancy Nnadi, a.k.a Coach Nancy, has officially retracted her statement against gospel music star Mercy Chinwo. This is coming after months of legal dispute, which led to Chinwo filing a defamation lawsuit at the Abuja High Court through her lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi.
The controversy started in March when Nnadi, who also serves as Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz, accused Chinwo of financial misconduct amid the singer’s legal battle with her former manager and label boss, Ezekiel “EeZee Tee” Onyedikachukwu.

Nancy had alleged that the Gospel artist diverted funds, but that accusation was later rubbished with documented proof, including verified email exchanges and payment receipts.
As part of the settlement process, Chinwo’s lawyers demanded a public apology and the removal of all defamatory posts from Nnadi’s social media accounts.
Reacting, Nancy wrote, “On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and the love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo.
I also pray Almighty God to perfect the ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”
WOW.
