PSG striker, Kylian Mbappe has come out to say that Liverpool also tried to sign him before his contract extension. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he had discussions with the Reds but it wasn’t extensive, and the reason why the conversation happened was because of his mother, who loves the club.
Mbappe added that Liverpool is a good club and they also tried to sign him from Monaco several years ago.
His words, “We talked a little bit, but not too much,”
“I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why, you will have to ask her.”
“It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club. Of course, it was between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the end.”
