I Stayed At Athletic Club Because I Won’t Get Same Atmosphere Elsewhere – Nico Williams

Athletic Club forward, Nico Williams has come out to open up on why he stayed at the club despite interest from Barcelona and Arsenal. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the relationship between Athletic Club players and the club is simply incredible, and he stayed mainly because he knows he won’t get the atmosphere anywhere else.

Nico added that he made that tough decision because it was the right move for his football career.

His words, “This relationship we have at the heart of the club is incredible. Everyone respects everyone else, which is incredible. This atmosphere, I’ll never have it anywhere else. I decided to stay because of that. I took the decision I thought was the right one. I’m happy, and I’m trying to do my best.”
