Popular singer Selena Gomez has opened up on why she sobbed after her wedding to Benny Blanco. She recently spoke about her irrational fears of losing everything when she least expects, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking during her panel at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women conference in Washington, DC, Selena said that living in the present has always been difficult for her to do.

According to her, because she is wired to always think something bad is coming whenever something great happens in her life, she always fails to live in the moment.
Gomez stated that she has been stuck on the mindset for so long that she is now used to it.
“This is how I work personally, but something great happens in my life, I expect something bad to happen.
So instead of being present and saying, ‘Okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ which I do, I’m always thinking, ‘Okay, but this could all go away tomorrow, so how can I make sure that doesn’t happen?'” she said.
Selena further noted that after getting married last month, her thoughts went wild to the point that she felt she could die the next day.
The songstress concluded by saying that she fought really hard to get people to take her seriously when she first entered the business world.
“I would say that’s my biggest conflict sometimes when wonderful things happen. I got married and then I was sobbing because I was like, ‘I’m gonna die the next day.’
I just think that’s a little life thing.
I think a lot of people would have preconceived ideas of what I’m good at, and I should stay in my lane, and I should do what I’m here to do. But what I’m here to do is make a difference,” she added.
