Bayern Munich player, Niklas Sule has said he is prepared to be a leader in his 3rd season, in a very youthful Bayern team.
The German champions have said goodbye to massive experience in the mould of Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Rafinha and Mats Hummels.
Hummels’ exit to Borussia Dortmund has now placed an expectation on Sule to lead from the back and he has said he is prepared for the challenge.
His words, “I want to take more responsibility, play better, and make even fewer mistakes.”
“I really want to take the next step.
“I’m not a big speaker in terms of my personality. I want to work my way into the role, to lead the younger players, push them and take responsibility.
“I’ve gained experience over my two years at Bayern and also in the national team. I want to use that more.”
Niklas Sule joined Bayern from Hoffenheim 2 years ago and has played 20 times for Germany.
