Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli has come out to share how her acting career started. She recently encouraged her followers and fans not to give up even when the going is extremely tough.
Speaking via an Instagram post, the moviestar recalled when she used to wait and pray for acting gigs, stating that she kept believing even when every road seemed blocked.
Appreciating God for answered prayers, she revealed that the jobs are now so many that she feels overwhelmed from time to time.
Acknowledging that her growth over the years can only be the Lord’s doing, the filmmaker thanked her Creator for making everything beautiful in His own time.
“On set 2 days ago, @uzor.arukwe and I were reminiscing about how we used to sit at home praying and crying to God for work. Now we are overwhelmed with it. What a faithful God! I just want to take a moment to appreciate my King. The one who makes all things beautiful in His time,” she wrote.
She further urged Nigerians to learn to keep faith alive during their seasons of waiting, emphasising that everyone’s time will come eventually.
Omoni concluded by saying that when the blessings start rolling in for those who wait in faith, it will be fast and loud.
“And to encourage you besties: if you’re in a season of waiting don’t give up. God sees you. God hears you. Your time is coming, and when it does, it will be speedy and undeniable,” she added.
