There was no shortage of influential figures at the wedding of Ayomide, Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s daughter, who tied the knot yesterday in Abeokuta.
The union happened between her and Oladipo, the son of Abike Dabiri-Erewa, a Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.
The bride and groom can be seen in their native attires – the groom in a elegantly-tailored white agbada and the bride in a lilac dress detailed with petals on the sleeves.
There was also time for change of costume with the groom slipping into a black tailored-to-fit tux, contrasted perfectly with a white dress shirt and black bow tie.
His bride’s white dress was sleeveless with a modest neckline but gorgeous nonetheless.
As expected, the event was attended by mainly heavyweights in politics such as Nigeria’s Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara and Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state.
Other guests at the ceremony include Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Dele Momodu and Segun Agbaje among many others.
