Manchester United defender, Victor Lindelof has come out to say that he does not know when the deadline is for his contract to be extended. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he expects the extension to be triggered when the time comes, and he is definitely enjoying himself at the club.
Lindelof added that he and his family feel very comfortable in Manchester, so he would love to keep representing MUFC.
His words, “That’s more than I heard! I have an option [for another] year and there is a deadline for it. When exactly I don’t know. But it feels likely that it will be activated. Absolutely [I want to stay]. I enjoy myself very much. I am entering my seventh year. I feel good and the family feels good. It’s a club that I really like, and that I love to represent.”

The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
