Real Madrid striker, Kylian Mbappe has come out to reveal the club he wants to face in the Champions League Round of 16. This is coming after scoring a sensational hat-trick to dump Manchester City out, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen are 2 great clubs having great seasons, he would rather face the Spanish club so he and his teammates don’t have to travel so much.
Mbappe added that it would be a difficult either way because they are both tough opponents.
His words, “Honestly, I would rather we are drawn against Atleti. They and Bayer are two great clubs and it would be difficult either way. But in the next round, it would be much better for us if we don’t have to travel – we travel so much!”
