Imo State born Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanancho was heard speaking Ibo in Manchester City dressing room.
The Manchester City forward was celebrating City’s League Cup win against Liverpool on Sunday, February, 28.
City won the penalty shoot-out 3-1 on penalties after the Wembley Stadium showpiece finished 1-1 after extra-time.
In a Youtube video released by City, the likes of Iheanacho, Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony celebrating with their teammates in the dressing room.
At one point in the video, Iheanacho spoke into the camera in Ibo and was seen dancing.
Although Iheanacho was an unused substitute in the game, he was still eligible for a medal, his first since joining City in October, 2014.
He took to Twitter to express his delight with the win.
“Proud to be among the champions yesterday thanks to all the fans that came to support comoncity,” he tweeted.
