Manchester United goalkeeper, Tom Heaton has come out to say that he wants to push the squad on next season. This is coming after he signed a new deal with the Premier League giants, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is very delighted to continue his stay at his boyhood club, and he feels ready to offer whatever the squad needs throughout the season ahead.
Heaton added that he plans to push the MUFC squad to build on the successes from last season.
His words, “I am delighted to continue my stay at my boyhood club. I still feel in great shape and I am ready to offer whatever the squad needs throughout the season ahead. In addition to on the pitch, I’m learning so much off it for my next steps, whatever that may be. But, first and foremost, I want to push the squad to build on our successes from last season.”

That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
