Borussia Dortmund forward, Jadon Sancho has come out to explain his badge-thumping goal celebration after netting in their Champions League win over PSV. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he celebrated that way because he considers the club his special place for giving him the platform to make a name for himself years back.

Sancho added that he is grateful to the fans and his team-mates for constantly believing in him.
His words, “It was like a relief. I think all players want to have a good start to the game and there is no better feeling than that. I’m grateful that I got the goal for the team. I’ve always got a special place for Borussia Dortmund. This is where I made my name, so I have got to be grateful to them, but also to my team-mates for believing in me. I’m just happy that we got the win.”
On being subbed off before the end of the game, “Last time I played a home game, before I got injured, I felt something and I didn’t want to risk it. We’re going to check and hopefully it’s nothing. Hamstring, but it should be okay.”
WOW.
