Leeds City coach, Marcelo Bielsa has come out to say that he is very proud of his team’s performance vs Liverpool in the EPL.
He recently revealed that he is happy with the way his boys went toe-to-toe with the Premier League champions.
According to him, he saw positives that showed his boys were not scared and that gave him hope of the season.
He added that Liverpool made it hard for his players to neutralise them but his team still made me proud.
His words, “Liverpool made it hard for us to neutralise them,”
“In the second half especially we struggled to get the ball from defence to attack.”
“We also stopped Liverpool playing like they usually do and we made a lot of effort. During large parts of the game we were able to match them.”
