Popular celebrity, Teyana Taylor has come out to file for divorce from Iman Shumpert after 7 years of marriage. Reports recently revealed that the singer filed for divorce back in January, eight months prior to September when the couple announced their separation on Instagram.
According to a source, the documents allege that Shumpert became increasingly jealous and controlling as Taylor’s career took off, and he often made her feel like she had to intentionally dim her light for her husband to try to have a harmonious and peaceful marriage.
Teyana Taylor added that Shumpert abused her emotionally and mentally, and he would often treat her cruelly and display extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.
