The Imo State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has debunked reports suggesting the existence of factions within the party, insisting it remains one united and indivisible family.
In a statement issued on Monday by the ADC National Vice Chairman (South-East), Sir Bon Unachukwu, and made available to Newsmen, the party reaffirmed Professor James Okoroma as the duly recognised State Chairman.

According to the statement, the national leadership of the ADC has directed that all party activities, communications, and official engagements in Imo State must be conducted exclusively under the supervision of the Professor Okoroma-led State Working Committee.
“The public, party faithful, and media are advised to disregard unauthorised statements or actions from individuals or groups not recognised by the national leadership,” Unachukwu said.
He further emphasised that the ADC remains committed to unity, transparency, and the promotion of democratic values in Imo State and across Nigeria.
