Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams has come out to say that his brother is his role model. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he and Inaki Williams are looking forward to playing UCL football next season, and he feels lucky to be playing football alongside his family.
Nico Williams added that he looks forward to seeing his elder brother wear the club’s armband for a very long time.
His words, “We’ve both always dreamed of this moment.
My brother is a role model for everyone, especially for me. I think he’s the best person to be captain, and I can’t wait to see him wearing the armband for a long time.”
The club’s director of football added, “Family is extremely important to Athletic, and we are delighted to be able to continue seeing Iñaki lead the team and Nico contribute his skill.”
