Inter Miami manager, Tata Martino has come out to say that it was key for his side to get out of the rut they were previously in. This is coming after the club ended its winless run against Sporting KC, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, breaking the recent run of draws was very important for the team, especially with a long week of football on the horizon.

Martino added that regaining the feeling that winning is possible is very key for his players.

His words, “Being first in the standings is comforting, especially with a long week ahead. It was very important for us to get out of that rut of getting ties, losses, making mistakes, and we were able to do that, to regain the feeling that we can win at the end of a long, tough week.”
