Popular feminist, Chimamanda Adichie has responded to a Catholic Parish Priest who verbally attacked her over comments she made about the Catholic church in Nigeria. She recently revealed this after her mother’s funeral mass in Abba community of Enugu State, and Nigerians have been reacting.
According to her, priests are supposed to guide parishioners and not attack them, and she is disappointed because the parish priest had several chances to call her privately to explain things to her.
Adichie added that she maintains that there are lots of good things about the Catholic Church but she’ll never understand why people are forced to give money.
