Tottenham coach, Jose Mourinho has come out to say that he feels deeply hurt when he is unable to select Dele Alli for games.
He recently revealed that the English midfielder should just keep being focused on grabbing the opportunity when it is presented to him.
According to him, it is a challenge trying to keep so many players happy but he sees it as a nice problem to have.
He added that he trusts his players and the squad and he expects them to always give their all during matches.
His words, “Dele is working hard and I feel very hurt when I don’t select him or even don’t have him on the bench, but this is the consequence of the attacking players we have,”
“Tonight [Dele and Steven Bergwijn] had the opportunity to catch with both hands.”
“I am happy. I have lots of good players and everyone is motivated,”
“Everyone wants to give everything on the pitch.
“They show frustration when they are not playing in the right way when they are on the pitch.
“You could say it is a risk to change so many players but I would say I accept the risk because I trust the players and the squad.”
