Kylian Mbappe was very happy to score on his Paris Saint-Germain debut as the Ligue 1 giants put 5 past 10-man FC Metz at Stade Saint-Symphorien on Friday.
Mbappe, 18, scored once and provided controversial assisted as Edinson Cavani grabbed two goals, Neymar one and Lucas Moura another to make it five wins from five in Le Championnat.
“I am very happy to be here,” the France international told Canal+ after the match. “I want to show my best each match and improve alongside the best players in Europe.
“I am very happy to have scored on my PSG debut. I managed to beat my marker, hit it hard and it went in. It gave us some breathing space and we were able to play the way we wanted to afterwards.
“I always wanted to play with great players, I had the opportunity to play with what is best in France and perhaps in Europe.
“I will try to learn from their movements, their professionalism. All I wanted to do is be at the ground. I was very happy, I had a lot of fun, the rest I will manage to adapt to.”
