Atletico Madrid president, Enrique Cerezo has come out to say that Joao Felix wasn’t lucky at Wanda Metropolitano. This is coming amid his superb start to life at Barcelona, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he has always said that Joao Felix is a fantastic player who only needed the right environment to thrive on the pitch.
Enrique added that the Portuguese forward just did not adapt well at Atletico Madrid, so he had to look for better luck elsewhere.
His words, “I have always said that he is a fantastic player and he is showing it at Barcelona.”
“With us he didn’t adapt, he wasn’t lucky. And yet, he is a great player at Barcelona, he was a great player here too.”
