Damilola Marshal, daughter of Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde, a.k.a K1 De Ultimate, has reacted to claims made by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) that her father attempted to board a ValueJet flight with an alcoholic drink. She recently revealed that the liquid in Kwam 1’s flash was water and not alcohol.
Reacting via her social media page, Damilola shared a screenshot of her father’s official statement, where he denied the allegation, describing FAAN’s claims as false.

“I don’t know why a reputable Agency will lie that Water is Alcohol, I don’t know when K1 became a Magician that turns water into Alcohol,” she wrote.
She concluded by posting a clip of her dad at an event with the same flask, stressing that the Fuji legend is known to move about with his water.
“With the same flask, all of a sudden everyone is pretending as if they don’t know he carries his water in his flask everywhere,” she added.
Recall that Wasiu Ayinde himself earlier described FAAN’s narration of his airport ordeal as “exaggerated and misleading.”
According to him, he was holding a flask containing drinking water, and it was handed to him at the lounge before boarding.
However, the authority maintains that the singer tried to board with an alcoholic substance in a flask, and that was a direct violation of aviation safety rules.
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has since banned K1 The Ultimate from flying within Nigeria for six months.
