Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has appointed three senior officials to strengthen his administration’s service delivery and citizen engagement.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were confirmed in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa.
The newly appointed officials are:

- Hon. Ado Dogo Audu – Counselor for Political Affairs
- Abubakar Shehu Giwa – Special Adviser for Political Affairs
- Ahmad Shehu Haruna – Special Adviser for Economic Matters
Profiles of the Appointees
Hon. Ado Dogo Audu is a seasoned politician and businessman who previously served three terms in the House of Representatives.
During his tenure, he chaired key committees, including the House Committee on Army, the Committee on Labour, Employment, and Productivity, as well as the Sub-Committee on Foreign Affairs for the Asia-Pacific region.
Abubakar Shehu Giwa is a respected political mobilizer and administrator.
He served two terms as Executive Chairman of Giwa Local Government and played a strategic role in political campaigns, including serving as Chairman of the Campaign Council for the 2023 General Elections in Giwa Local Government.
Ahmad Shehu Haruna is a financial expert and chartered accountant with nearly a decade of experience in financial consulting.
Before his appointment, he was an Associate Director at Haruna Yahaya & Co. Chartered Accountants, where he led various national and international engagements.
Governor Sani’s Charge to the Appointees
Governor Sani congratulated the new appointees and urged them to collaborate in designing and implementing innovative programs that will enhance citizen participation and improve governance in Kaduna State.
He expressed confidence in their ability to deliver on their mandates and wished them success in their new roles.
