Kane Will Break Lewandowski’s Bundesliga Record – Mario Basler

Former Bayern Munich star Mario Basler has tipped Harry Kane to beat Lewandowski’s famous single-season Bundesliga record. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Kane and Lewandowski are actually different kinds of players because the latter was not the type who worked hard defensively for the team.

Mario added that Harry is an exceptional striker who has already done enough to be the Bundesliga player of the year.

His words, “I think Harry Kane is a different kind of player. Lewandowski wasn’t the type of player who worked so hard defensively.

Harry Kane does that. Kane is sometimes deployed as a backup to Nicolas Jackson when he comes on as a substitute, and he also frequently operates in midfield, winning the ball and distributing it.

I believe he has a chance to break the goalscoring record this season. For me, he is an exceptional striker and the player of the year.”
