In what must have come as a shock to him, now former Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi has reacted for the first time following his dismissal by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
According to NTA news reports, the former coach dismissed by new NFF board after a run of poor performances which led to widespread fears that Nigeria will not make it to the next Nations Cup from a group comprising Sudan, Congo and South Africa, has spoken for the first time.
‘Its about time for me to move on, my dear. This is not the end of the world for me,’ Keshi, who had said he was not bothered by being sacked said.
Keshi became the coach of Nigeria’s senior national team in 2011, leading the country to victory at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and a second place finish at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
