Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), claims he will receive 99 percent of the vote and win the governorship race in Kogi State on November 11.
At the official launch of the APC’s National and State Campaign Councils for the governorship race on November 11, Ganduje addressed party members and supporters.
According to NAN, he said he expected a large turnout of APC supporters from the state’s population because of the party’s long history there.

“Today we officially launch the state campaign committee, which will work with the national campaign committee and the LGAs’ campaign committees to guarantee election day success.
You have seen good governance in action under Governor Yahaya Bello, and our party, led by our candidate Usman Ododo, intends to build on that record if he is elected.
You know your son Ododo to be a dedicated and honest public servant, and he is eager to take on the role of governor for the state of his birth.
“We are expecting nothing less than 99 percent victory votes from the people of Kogi in this forthcoming Nov. 11 governorship election,” he stated.
He assured the people of Bola Tinubu’s commitment to creating the conditions for a fair and credible governorship election.
Yahaya Bello also stated that the people of Kogi were prepared to vote for the APC if a credible and articulate candidate were selected.
“The APC Governorship candidate is politically savvy and qualified to take Kogi to the next level of progress.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the APC national chairman recently inaugurated both the Kogi and national gubernatorial campaign councils.
The national campaign council is led by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, and the state campaign council is led by Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.
In his acceptance address, Abiodun vowed that his council will work tirelessly and peacefully with the state campaign council led by Governor Yahaya Bello to win the election for the APC and its candidate.
