The opposition Labour Party in Kogi State has issued a rallying cry for Nigerians to unite in reclaiming the nation from what they describe as detrimental leadership.
Speaking on Monday in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Kogi Labour Party Publicity Secretary, Idakwo Emmanuel, emphasized the need for solidarity among Nigerians.
He lamented the impact of a select few whose actions, he claimed, have brought about economic decline and hindered progress in Nigeria.

In his address, Emmanuel urged citizens to contemplate the importance of combating corruption and improving governance.
He urged, “It is time to take back our Country from this greedy set of people who have decided to cripple our hope in Nigeria.”
Highlighting the urgency of the situation, he emphasized the need for a united front, transcending religious, ethnic, and regional divisions.
He emphasized, “We must stand up to take back our country and rescue our dear nation from total collapse.
This is the only country we have and void of religion, ethnicity and regional differences.”
Reiterating the call for action, Emmanuel asserted, “We must defeat the few who in their selfish and satanic operations have destroyed the economy and prosperity of our nation.
Together we will move Nigeria from consumption to production. It is possible.”
The Labour Party’s statement reflects growing concerns about the state of governance and the economy in Nigeria, echoing sentiments for a collective effort towards national revitalization.
