Napoli midfielder, Scott McTominay has come out to open up on his exit from Manchester United after 22 years at the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it was definitely a big decision to quit MUFC this summer, but he has never had any cause to regret any decision that concerns his life or his career.
McTominay added that he wants a successful football career, and he is ready to leave his comfort zone to make it happen.
His words, “Obviously it’s a big decision, there’s no denying that. It was a huge decision for me and my family and my friends. At times like that in your life you just have to say: ‘Do I want to do it? Absolutely,’ and go for it. There’s no looking back. I’ve never had any regrets in my life or my career and I continue that way to this day. I want my career to be successful and I’m going to go out of my way to try and push myself to be the best football player and best person that I can possibly be.”

The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
