Robert Lewandowski’s long contract stand-off with Bayern Munich is annoying, Markus Babbel has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he doesn’t like how the Polish striker is making a circus out of a potential renewal, and he doesn’t feel it is good for the team.
Babbel added that Lewandowski‘s stance is simply foolish, and he should learn from Thomas Muller on how to be grateful to the club.
His words, “This howling around is annoying,”
“It is said that the appreciation is not enough for him, I can’t hear that anymore. No player has received as much appreciation as Lewandowski has at Bayern in the last 20 years.”
“Thomas Muller, for example, doesn’t make such a circus out of it. Lewandowski earns €25 million and wants more. No other Bayern player earns that much.”
“There were times when he wanted to leave permanently, Bayern stood by him because they think a lot of him. There’s a bit of gratitude – not just demands.”
