Ex Ajax star, Marciano Vink has come out to say that he believes Lisandro Martinez will be a squad player at best at Arsenal. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he expects Arsenal to buy the Argentine for the position of left central defender if there was ever a transfer, and he doesn’t see Gabriel getting dropped.
Vink added that this doesn’t change the fact that Martinez is a class footballer who also proves his worth for Argentina.
His words, “He would be brought in for the position of left central defender, and I don’t think they’ll take Gabriel out at Arsenal just like that.”
“If they get Martinez, I think they’ll get him for the bench. As a back-up.”
“Martinez is a very good and tough defender, he also shows it in the Argentine team.”
