It’s the season for cheer and giving, and all over the world, celebrities alike, in one way or the other, are trying to give something in celebration of the Christmas spirit.
It is in that Spirit that rapper turned actor, Ludacris visited the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta to help spread the cheer that would really by lacking in the lives of most of the patients at the hospital and their families.
The actor went round the hospital to see the children and also gave them toys: A practical modern-day Santa Claus.
Ludacris, who has a charity organization called, the Ludacris Foundation which he started in December of 2001 and which aims to help youth help themselves by volunteering across the country, tagged the posts from his visit #MerryLudacrismas, a pun on the season using his name.
The father of three further posted more photos with heartfelt wishes and prayers for the parents and families of the patients.
In the spirit of Christmas, or shall we say, Ludacrismas.
The star is not the first to visit children’s hospitals across the United States. Earlier in the week, Chris Pratt, Ciara and Russell Wilson spent time at the Seattle Children’s hospital.
The stars came together to visit the patients at the Seattle hospital and also at the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, posing for photographs and greeting the children receiving treatment at the hospital.
The hospital tweeted a photo of a patient with Chris Pratt, holding a figurine of Groot from his movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, and wrote,
“Hanging out with our friend @prattprattpratt. Thanks for being #StrongAgainstCancer”
