Roma manager, Daniele De Rossi has come out to slam Romelu Lukaku and Leandro Paredes for being stupid during the team’s 4-0 win over Cagliari. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he likes when players try to defend their teammates on the pitch, they both needed to be intelligent vs Cagliari with Roma leading by 4 goals to nil.

De Rossi added that getting unnecessary booking when you have a comfortable lead is just a stupid thing to do.
His words, “Look, I like it when players try to defend their teammates, but when leading 4-0 they need to be intelligent. We need to clamp down on this sort of behaviour because getting booked when you are 4-0 up is truly stupid. We cannot afford to lose any of these players.”
On Paredes, “There are few midfielders with his quality in the world. But he has to improve his positioning, finding himself in the path of the ball. He needs to listen to me because I used to do that well. Without having to run like someone who has four lungs, he can be more decisive when defending.”
WOW.
