Argentine forward, Angel Di Maria has come out to say that ex-MUFC manager, Louis van Gaal is the worst he’s played for. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, if anyone had doubt on who his worst manager would be, they should know it is LVG, because he just did not enjoy playing football under him.

Angel di Maria added that Scaloni is a great coach in every sense because of the connection he establishes with all of his players.
His words, “The worst (manager) is Van Gaal, you can be sure of that. In case you had any doubt, I’ll clear that up for you right now.”
On his best managers, “Scaloni, without a doubt. He’s a great coach in every sense because of the staff he has, the connection with the players and how he manages the games, it’s perfect. I think he’s one of the best. Then, Alejandro (Sabella) too, was a manager who had a big impact on me, I learned a lot with him. And after, it’s hard. I had a lot of coaches, [Jose] Mourinho, and [Carlo] Ancelotti. I played for so many good managers that it’s hard to pick.”
On Maradona, “I won’t consider him as [just] a manager because to me he was more of a close friend, someone who stopped by to chat. He didn’t seem like a manager but more like a friend, a brother, a dad. A dad more than anything. He would put up with me when nobody else did and helped me to move forward. The more criticism I received, the more he supported me. He was everything to me. Diego is the best that ever was. I’ve said it before, Leo Messi is the greatest of all time, but Diego is Diego. To me, to Argentina and the world.”
WOW.
Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division in the English football league system.
Nicknamed the Red Devils, they were founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, but changed their name to Manchester United in 1902. After a spell playing in Clayton, Manchester, the club moved to their current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.
Alex Ferguson and his assistant Archie Knox arrived from Aberdeen on the day of Atkinson’s dismissal, and guided the club to an 11th-place finish in the league. Despite a second-place finish in 1987–88, the club was back in 11th place the following season. Reportedly on the verge of being dismissed, Ferguson’s job was saved by victory over Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup final.
The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
