Ex-manager, Sam Allardyce has come out to say that Harry Maguire rejected West Ham United because he wants something bigger. This is coming after his potential move to West Ham fell through, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it is clear that the English defender turned West Ham down, and he says that with all sureness because he knows the player’s agent.

Sam added that Maguire does not want to move to a club that could be battling relegation this season.
His words, “He (Maguire) turned West Ham down, he’s turned it down. I know his agent really well. I think – and this is no disrespect to West Ham, because I managed them – he feels that with the troubles they had last season down the bottom of the league, he doesn’t want to be going there, he wants something bigger.”
