Liverpool midfielder, James Milner has come out to say that the club had a reset in January after being so far behind in the title race. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the mental reset in January ensured the boys pushed extra hard till this point of the season with the title race yet to be decided.
Milner added that Manchester City are an incredible team to go up against, and should Liverpool lose out eventually, the players will still be proud of their effort.
His words, “We had a reset in January when we were so far behind and we went for it. We had a mental reset and we’ve really pushed.”
“City are an incredible team to go up against. Whatever happens, we’ve done ourselves proud. All we can do is try to win our games.”
