Manchester United have a very good plan to cope with Tottenham when both sides clash in the EPL on Wednesday, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
A 2-2 draw at home vs Aston Villa on Sunday saw Mufc miss the opportunity to move up to 5th, and this is coming after an underwhelming 3-3 draw at Sheffield United and a 2-1 Europa League defeat to Astana.
Speaking on his upcoming clash vs Mourinho’s Spurs, Ole is sure his team can still turn their season around.
His words, “Three days or four days are not going to change a whole lot, but these two games are a great chance to improve things and prove to ourselves we can continue in the vein against some of the better sides.
“We’ve had some good results against good teams and we’ve got a plan for Wednesday night.”
“He’ll get a very good reception, that’s just a testament to this club and these supporters.
“They’ll remember the two-and-a-half years, trophies won, and I’m 100 per cent sure our fans, staff and club will welcome him.”
“He’s not ready, no. He’s still a bit away but working hard so let’s see, he’s out on the grass, let’s see how long it will take.”
When asked if Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic could be in line to return against Tottenham, Solskjaer added: “It’s touch and go, but let’s get this training session out of the way, we’ve got more games than just this one. We can’t look at just the one game, we have to look at long term.”
