As part of his summer vacation in the United States, Marcus Rashford pitched up at the Nike World Campus in Oregon where he mingled with another name that looms large in Manchester United folklore.
Indeed, the young striker met with NFL star Odell Beckham Junior, who was helping to host an open day for talented high-school football players.
The pair kicked off proceedings with the obligatory cross-code shirt exchange — Beckham Jr receiving an England shirt and Rashford receiving a New York Giants jersey into the bargain.
Rashford then demonstrated his American football prowess, tossing a few tight spirals back and forth with Beckham Jnr, whose own technique left a lot to be desired.
The Giants wide receiver isn’t the only big name Rashford has brushed shoulders on his Stateside trip, with the United forward also having the pleasure of dining with Ronaldinho during a brief stop-over in Miami.
It’s been quite the holiday, especially for a 19-year-old lad.
