Popular rapper Offset has come out to describe marriage as one of his all-time worst experiences. He recently revealed that he does not intend to walk down the aisle again, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking on the Full Send podcast, the lyricist reflected on his failed relationship with Cardi B, suggesting that marriage is a closed chapter for him.
According to him, he will no longer condone the idea of settling down, and anyone thinking in that direction should be ready for their lives to be turned upside down.
“I’m done with the whole marriage thing. If you’re thinking about getting married, you better be ready to flip your whole life upside down,” he said.
He stated that even being in a relationship can change the course of a man’s life amid the immense pressures of constant scrutiny and expectations.
“Even having a girlfriend can flip life on its head,” he added.
The host, Kyle Forgeard, agreed with the rapper’s sentiment, admitting that while women can be supportive from time to time, relationships can quickly become a distraction from a man’s personal goals.
Despite his warnings to others, however, Offset hinted that he might give love a chance again, leaving room for a future romantic relationship.
