Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama has come out to share valuable advice for singles looking for a life partner. She recently had her say during a conversation on a podcast, and the world has been reacting.
According to her, people should learn to think beyond mere romance and focus on practical compatibility when choosing a spouse since marriage is about dividing and conquering.

Michelle added that marrying a man who cannot cook is a bad idea because both parties have to be able to do it all.
Her words, “Everybody has to be able to do it all. Each person in a couple has to be able and willing to do it all.
You don’t want to marry a man who is like ‘I don’t cook.’ It’s like, well, what happens if I can’t cook?”
Or if you’re the woman and you can’t balance the checkbook because you’ve left that to him. Life is too complicated for two partners not to be real equals in it.
Life is just so unpredictable.
Find a partner who isn’t just willing to divide and conquer, but who’s capable of covering for you during life’s unpredictable moments.”
WOW.
