Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has come out to say that Anthony Martial must focus if he wants to get back to his best at the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he believes Anthony Martial can get better as a striker if he has the right motivation to leave the past behind and concentrate on improving his football.
Ten Hag added that he expects the Frenchman to get the service he needs to score a lot of goals next season.
His words, “I’m sure he can come back even better,”
“I think when he has the right focus and the right motivation and he works hard he will have production because he is a good player.
“I say when he has the right focus and every day delivers much then he will have production and it’s up to him.”
On the goal conceded vs Melbourne Victory, “I don’t want to talk about the individuals because I think it was from the start high up the pitch,”
“The wrong choices and then it ends up like a pack of cards. It’s not one individual, it is more the team who made mistakes.”
On injured players, “David trains already, he is back on the training pitch so no big worry.”
“Raphael Varane is also training but something small and I expect him back on the training pitch.”
