Mbappe Can Be The Mane Replacement Liverpool Needs – Marcel Desailly

Liverpool could suit Kylian Mbappe smoothly if he joins, Marcel Desailly has said. This is coming amid his ongoing saga with Paris Saint-Germain, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, unlike Maguire, Liverpool are not at the end of a cycle, and a player like Mbappe can be the Mane replacement they so badly need.

Marcel added that the drop off after the recent years of success was understandable, but he expects them to be back soon.

His words, “Liverpool are not at the end of a cycle, unlike Chelsea. The choice he has to make is not one or two years but four or five. So when reports talk about a one-year loan, I don’t see that,”

“But Liverpool have not sold most of their players, they have managed to keep a foundation at Anfield. They had a drop after many years of doing well, which was linked to selling Sadio Mane.
