Former referee, Keith Hackett has come out to say that Kylian Mbappe deserves to receive a 10-game ban for his brutal challenge on Antonio Blanco. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Mbappe‘s challenge was simply terrible, and the authority must now show that there is no place in the game for horrible tackles like that.

Hackett added that their decision will definitely go a long in deterring potential offenders in the future.

His words, “Mbappe’s challenge was brutal. It put at risk the safety of his opponent. The referee acted swiftly by showing the red card. Now the authorities must show that there is no place in the game for this type of challenge by issuing Mbappe a 10-game ban. Come on now, let’s stop this type of action by any player in the game.”
