In a bid to aid the containment of the novel coronavirus, personal protective equipment has been donated to the University College Hospital Ibadan. The equipment which was donated to the University College Hospital by Mikano International Limited, a power generating company based in Nigeria was reported to have been produced by “Mikano Medicals”, which is a unit under the “Mikano Company”.
The protective equipment which came in the form of surgical disposable face mask to the hospital by Mr Bethel Ukonu, who is a senior staff of the Mikano company. This was done in a bid to help the hospital in the containment of coronavirus disease.
The items were received by Doctor Victor Akinmoladun on behalf of the chief medical director, Prof Jesse Otegbayo, who in his remarks commended the effort of the Mikano company in helping to combat the novel coronavirus disease and also called for more private sectors to intervene in the fight against covid-19.

Mr Bethel Ukonu, who presented the equipment to the hospital pledged that the company will continue to give to the hospital.
