The Honourable Minister of Health, Dr Ehanire, has been honoured with Health and Safety Ambassador award. The Minister was honoured with this award during the 10th International Safety Conference of the Occupational Safety & Health Administrationin conjunction with the Association for Occupational Safety & Health of Nigeria.
The Minister said that the conference which was tagged, “Post Covid-19: Developing safe & secure workplace-The New Normal” is necessary at this crucial time as Nigeria and world economies are impacted by COVID19 pandemic.
While speaking the Dr Ehanire In his remarks the stated that the health and well-being of workers in all kinds of setting is important to their effectiveness in the performance of their duties.
Dr Ehanire reiterated that the Association for Occupational Safety & Health of Nigeria shares a similar objective of “development and excellence in the practice of Occupational Safety and Health with the Occupational Health & Safety Division of the Federal Ministry of Health.
