Roma striker, Romelu Lukaku has come out to address his critics after another goal-scoring performance. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he has always proven on the pitch that he can offer quality to teams, and he is happy he is doing that at Roma as well.

Lukaku added that he and Mourinho have a special relationship, and he respects the way he puts his trust in him.
His words, “I prove on the pitch what I can give to a team. Today things went well.”
On Mourinho, “As Iâve said in the past, he and I have a special relationship. He knows me and my children. Heâs someone I can trust, and he puts his trust in me. Heâs tough, but thatâs the only way that I can grow.”

JosĂ© MĂĄrio dos Santos Mourinho FĂ©lix GOIH is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who is the current head coach of Italian Serie A club Roma. Dubbed “The Special One” by the British media, Mourinho is one of the most decorated managers ever and is widely considered to be among the greatest managers of all time.
Mourinho was born in 1963 to a large middle-class family in SetĂșbal (a suburb of the Lisbon metropolitan area), Portugal, the son of JosĂ© Manuel Mourinho FĂ©lix, who was known by the name FĂ©lix Mourinho, and his wife, Maria JĂșlia Carrajola dos Santos. His father played football professionally for Belenenses and VitĂłria de SetĂșbal, earning one cap for Portugal in the course of his career.
His mother was a primary school teacher from an affluent background; her uncle funded the construction of the VitĂłria de SetĂșbal football stadium. The Carnation Revolution leading to the fall of AntĂłnio de Oliveira Salazar’s Estado Novo regime in April 1974 also led to the family losing all but a single property in nearby Palmela.
Mourinho has also been a part of social initiatives and charity work, helping with a youth project, bringing Israeli and Palestinian children together through football and donating his lucky jacket to Tsunami Relief, earning ÂŁ22,000 for the charity. Since his appointment in 2014, he acts as a Global Ambassador of the United Nations’ World Food Programme.
